Thailand pet import — what to expect
Thailand has a mandatory 30-day quarantine on arrival for all imported dogs and cats. This is non-negotiable and is served at the official quarantine station near Bangkok. The cost is charged by the Thai authorities and is separate from Rosardi's service fees.
- Import permit from Thailand DLD — applied before travel
- ISO 15-digit microchip
- Current rabies vaccination (within 12 months)
- Distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, leptospirosis vaccinations current

30-day quarantine is mandatory: Unlike some destinations, Thailand cannot waive the quarantine period regardless of vaccination history. Budget and plan for this in advance.
