Overview

Internationally relocating with your pet doesn't have to be exhausting

Relocating internationally with your pet means moving a family member alongside all your personal belongings — and it involves complex documentation, strict health requirements, and precise timing. Timing that, if not adhered to, can cost you money, and that unexpected cost is the last thing you need during an international move.

After speaking with us at Rosardi Pet Services, we manage every step of the process for you — guiding you through the difficult tasks while ensuring the safe and sound delivery of your loved ones. From rabies titre tests and import permits to quarantine coordination and final delivery, we handle it from start to finish.

Australia is one of the most difficult countries to import pets into. We have the expertise of managing these requirements, as well as experience with other countries should Australia not be on your itinerary.

A few things worth knowing first
  • Start planning as early as possible — Australia requires at least 180 days notice from when the titre test arrives at the lab before your move date (some countries require longer)
  • Ensure your pet has an ISO-compliant microchip
  • Check your destination country for any breed restrictions — we can help with this
  • Research quarantine requirements for your destination — we can help with this too
  • Confirm rabies vaccination is current and completed after microchipping
Timeline note: We advise you to reach out as soon as possible. The sooner we start, the more options you have — and the less likely you are to face costly last-minute complications.
